Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Bar Rettel – Wild Art & Craft believes the Site should be accessible and easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. The Site was built with the aim of meeting the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and the guidance of Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
What we have done
- A consistent, hierarchical heading structure on all pages.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for the images of the creations.
- Support for keyboard navigation and common screen readers.
- A responsive layout for mobile, tablet and desktop, and text that can be enlarged with the browser’s zoom.
- Appropriate color contrast between text and background.
- Clear labels for form fields.
- The Site is available in Hebrew and English.
Known limitations
We continue to work on improving accessibility. Some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible – for example videos without captions, the enlarged image gallery, the logo (which is an image), and third-party content such as the payment provider or the link to Etsy. If you run into any difficulty, we will gladly help personally, including taking your order by phone or WhatsApp.
Physical accessibility & workshops
The business has no physical shop open to the public. Workshops are mobile and take place at a location chosen together with the people booking them. We are happy to adapt a workshop to participants’ accessibility needs – just let us know when booking.
